Russell L. Mosely was appointed to the ULS Board in 2007. He lives and maintains a private law practice in Baton Rouge. Russell graduated from Louisiana State University in 1998, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in General Business and a minor in Economics. He earned a Juris Doctorate from the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law School in 2002.
Russell is actively involved in the Baton Rouge community. Among other civic activities, he currently serves as a Board Member for the Baton Rouge Food Bank and the First United Methodist Church Early Learning Center. He has been a member of the Baton Rouge Area Chamber, a volunteer for Alzheimer’s Services of the Capital Area, a volunteer reader to elementary school children with Volunteers in Public Schools (VIPS), a member of the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry (LABI) Healthcare Task Force, and a pro-bono indigent defense attorney in Baton Rouge City Court.
